Friendly service and the least stressful testing experience I have had
The science equivalency test is tough as you n eed to do all 3 subjects and there is a lot to learn. Unfortuantely I didn’t pass but I am revising hard for my resit and I have been given feedback and extra support so hopefully this time I will get there

Passed!!!! Whoop whoop! So excited to finally get onto a PGCE after 3 years of trying to do my GCSE maths exam and getting a level 2-3 every time. Someone recommended the equivalency maths test and unlike the other occasions I actually did a lot of revision for this and used the course and extra free lessons they give. It made all the difference.
English test was all good. Did the revision and worked through the course and passed my resit. The invigilator was really calming and made me feel comfortable doing the test
English is not my best subject but managed to do this having not looked at an English revision guide in 20 years.
Pleased with the serivce and super speedy results, less than 2 days 🙂
I couldn’t fault the experience. No one that has to do this likes maths and it was one of my greatest fears, even more than spiders!! However, I did the work over a number of weeks, in the evenigns and weekends and the hard work really paid off.

Rosie has been amazing, i did my maths and science exam with A star. Rosie was on the next line straight away as soon as i needed something! I needed my results back asap due to a family emergency and rosiw got them back to me less than an hour
I disagree with having to do this test when I have a degree and I am over qualified to do a teacher training role. So what, I never did my science GCSE, I don’t like science and I will never have to teach it. This company was helpful but I still resent having to do this

Passed first time and off to Uni to complete my PGCE. So much more convenient that doing a GCSE with just 1 exam paper that you can do from home
I had to do this to get into my primary teacher training role. I was not happy at first but the staff turned the service around and helped me to calm my nevers.
Thank you for all your support, i would recommend your company to future student teachers. The only down fall is the price. I am proud to say i passed my exams first time.
The maths isn’t easy but if you do the work you should be fine. I was doing this as my teacher training provider said I needed to get a maths gcse equivalency test.

I have always hated maths but I had to get it for my PGCE to start. I was relieved to join the tutorials and facebook group and see there were many others in a similar situation. I did the course and worked through all the questions and by the end I actually felt confident with numbers for the first time in my life. Did foundation and scrapped a pass but who really cares, I got the level 4 and that is all I needed.
Good service
The English test is not that hard. Go over the free paper and other free bits they give and if you spend the time understanding what they are looking for in the exam then you shouldn’t have too much trouble with this one
The test is tricky but hte course materials do help a lot, especially the past papers.
I have recently taken my Biology equivalent exam. Overall the course and exam run very smoothly. The revision guides were helpful and the lead up to the exam was very straight forward.
I needed this to start my teacher training. I had to wait 2 years whilst I passed my GCSE but got there eventually.
A star equivalency was a great provider, very fast giving answers, great support and give you company alongside in your journey.
I would recommend A star equivalency to help you with your gcse maths equivalency test. They were professional and made my exam set up easy.

The revision videos really helped to pass the GCSE equivalency test
For the combined science you have to put in the work as there is a lot of content. The webinars are a must, very informative, I would not have passed without them. The apps that A star suggest on their website are also a good resource. The exam was a slightly different format than I was expecting but if you have revised this shouldn’t be a problem and the invigilator was very helpful and put me at ease. The only negative is that when it came to booking the exam, the slots available from my initial payment did not meet my needs and I had to pay extra to secure a slot that was suitable but apart from that the process overall was a good experience.

Booked this test with only 9 days to spare for revision before my exam, was extremely short notice as I wasn’t aware I didn’t have the acceptable GCSE grade from 20+ years ago. The course revision pack was really helpful and gave me a massive insight and refresher to the English Language. I’m pleased to say I’ve passed and now have my certificate to begin my Uni degree in teaching, my only small complaint is that it is very expensive no one reaches out to you to see how you’re getting on. other than that, it is well recommended.
I was able to pass Maths and Biology exam through the support I received from A Star Equivalency. I am now studying to be a qualified teacher in the early years sector. They helped provide a maths and Biology tutoring that has supported in my success in passing the exam.

Quite a bit of content to learn but everything is there in the course pack. I found the lessons a massive aid in getting me ready for test day.
I did all(Math, English and Biology) my equivalency tests with A-Star. I can not thank enough to support all my preparation and test itself. They were responsive and informative(especially Susie) all the time. And all my invigilator ensure that I was ready for the exam before I had started. Thank you for all your support.

Did my maths equivalency with A Star and was really pleased with the service and support. My advice to anyone taking the exam is to do your revision. It isn’t an exam you can just turn up and pass
Really good course and lots of helpful information
It took me one year to complete my Maths and English GCSE. I passed my Maths GCSE after two attempt and the English one forth time. It was frustrated for me to go through those exams more than once. It cost me roughly £1,044 with this economic situation and this was difficult for me. At the end I received support from A Star through resit session which I found useful and this helped to pass my English GCSE. Thank you and I can follow my route in education. The administration fee are quite expensive..

Fantastic service from start to finish. I brought the course and exam option. I spent a year going through the course material and accessing the online tutorials. I chose a time for my exam that suited working around my family. The exam was well explained and carried out. I achieved a Grade 6 and am now able to access my teacher training. Thank you so much A Star Equivalency, I would highly recommend your services to anyone in need of obtaining science but not able to do the GCSE.
