I did my GCSE maths with A star and will definitely recommend the service to anyone who needs equivalency. Before A Star I went with another provider, who although cost me slightly less, they were very disorganised in comparison. A star were super organised, by sending all the info about the exam days before. On the day of exam, the invigilator was very nice and understanding. I wrote my questions on paper and scanned at the end, which made everything so much easier and also saved a lot of time. I paid extra for fast track and got my result in less than 24 hours! The only downside for me was the cost of the fast track, plus the fact that once you’ve passed you need to pay £20 for a hard copy of the certificate. Otherwise I would’ve given A star 5 stars as the service was very professional and I was over the moon to pass first time!
Very professional and amazing customer service. I took my first exam with a different well known provider who were absolutely awful and a complete waste of money.
I would definitely recommend astar equivalency, I paid for fast track results which were returned to me the next morning.
Great experience with a star. Highly recommend. Staff is very supportive. Given option to write on paper instead of typing on screen online. That helped me most. Passed with a level english equivalency test😍
Everything was great. I had the online exam and I could write down the answer. At the end I had to scan the papers. It was quickly and easy. I really recommend it.
I was soo worried about sitting this exam as my teacher training course would not be going ahead without the grade. I printed off the Edexcel IGCSE Biology Specification, and studied all areas (as overwhelming the document may seem I highly recommend doing printing it off and highlighting what you’ve studied as you go along).
A STAR really were A Star, no question I asked was ever too much. Fab service from start to finish. The team were super helpful and understanding, they are also very very quick with responding to any questions you may have.
I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough, very much worth the money!

Revise for your GCSE equivalency test using the A Star Equivalency support materials and as long as you put the time and effort in you should pass. I am more than happy to recommend this service.

Great service for your GCSE equivalency exams. The invigilator gave clear instructions before starting the exam, and the exam platform was generally very easy to use. I got my results within 24 hours!
Everyone who is working for A Star Equivalency has been very helpful and polite. I mainly used the live chat to ask questions and the help was amazing and quick. I did combined science with A* and the exam was 2 hours long. Although a bit pricey compared to what it was before. The fast track feature i believe is too expensive and should really be maximum £30. Other than money being the issue for me. Everything was perfect especially the customer service.
I completed my foundation maths exam with A Star equivalency online. I was so nervous before the exam, however I feel it couldn’t have gone any better! The process from start to finish was smooth, the invigilator made me feel calm and I felt more at ease during the exam than I did before! I would highly recommend this company to do your exam with 🙂
I was really worried about taking the GCSE biology equivalency because I have not touched science in over 15 years and I can’t recall the differences between a plant or animal cell! However after a few weeks of revising my confidence grew and the exam was that bad in the end. A Star were tremendous all the way through.

The service was very good and the invigilation was professional. I did have some noise distraction from the other students during the exam but this can’t be helped. I would recommend this service as it was quick and painless, if you don’t count the revision haha. I passed both my biology and English exams and have been able to progress onto my initial teacher training course.
Great materials provided, some were missing at first but easy communication and I was sent what I needed within 48 hours. Excellent revision sessions to join each week – definitely helped with tricky areas! Would highly recommend A Star!

A star provide an amazing service. Everything was done smoothly. They answer all of the queries and that too very quickly. I was in constant correspondence and got the reply to each and every mail. Got my result within a week. Very highly recommended.
Straight forward exam which smartly gathers writing and reading assessment requirements.
Good support and the science course materials were really useful. I found the exam tricky, wish there were more multiple choice. I got my level 4 so that’s all that matters.

I had to pass my GCSE English equivalency test as a condition for my teacher training. I contacted A-Star Equivalency team as I am more comfortable in Paper based exam and it’s only them providing this opportunity. I booked my exam with them and it was very easy. Anytime I needed any help they promptly responded. I didn’t want to leave any chance to pass it so I bought their course as well. The mocks paper in the course were very helpful and I revised from some other resources. The examination process was very authentic. I passed my exam in first attempt with distinction 😃. I am very pleased with their service and will definitely recommend to others.

I needed a Maths, English and science GCSE for entry into a PGCE course. They were very friendly from start of booking to finish. Any problems with bookings or exam dates were dealt with promptly.
